Travel to Edinburgh

Flying to Edinburgh
Edinburgh International Airport is 12 kilometres (8 miles) from the city centre. There are frequent direct flights from most UK airports, over 30 European destinations and North America. There are frequent bus links to the city centre and a good supply of taxis.

It is also practical to fly into Glasgow Aiport which offers further flight options. It takes approximately 2 hours to travel to Edinburgh city centre.

Travel by Train
Waverley railway station is situated in the centre of Edinburgh and is well served by the rail network. Rail travel from central London takes about 5 hours. Comprehensive train connections are also available from other major cities in the UK.
