The ICSES Golf Competition - 2nd and 3rd September 2010 at Gleneagles Hotel

USA v Europe v The Rest of the World 

As a preliminary to the ICSES meeting in Edinburgh, an international golf competition will be held at the Gleneagles Hotel, Perthshire, Scotland on the 2nd and 3rd of September 2010.

Gleneagles is the venue for the 2014 Ryder Cup so this will be an opportunity for you to put your golfing skills to the test on two of the most historic and challenging courses at Gleneagles. You will stay at one of the world's great hotels set in the spectacular Perthshire countryside with first class facilities and many additional attractions (if you can drag yourself away from the golf courses!).

The planned programme for the competition is detailed below:

Wednesday 1st September: Arrive at Gleneagles in the afternoon with the Welcome Reception at the hotel and announcement of 'matches' and starting times. Dinner will be served at the hotel in the evening.

Thursday 2nd September: First round of 'matches' on one of the courses followed by the Competition Dinner in a private room in the evening.

Friday 3rd September: Second round of 'matches' on a different course followed by the Prize Giving and Celebrations for the victorious team. Guests then depart for Edinburgh.
