Golfers will wish to take advantage of the wonderful golf available in Scotland during their visit.

Our suggestions are:-

Old Course St AndrewsOld Course - St Andrews - Important points:-

  • You need to check the websites from January 2009 - at least one year in advance!
  • 6 Courses - The Old Course + 5 other Courses
  • It looks as if the only dates available will be:- Thursday 2nd & Friday 3rd September 2010 due to Pre-booked competitions
  • You must have a current golf club membership to book
  • There is a validated handicap requirement of either 24 (men) or 36 (women)
  • You may be more successful with your booking if you purchase 2 rounds one on the Old Course and one on one of the other five courses in St Andrews
  • There are different package options try any of the following:-

Muirfield - Edinburgh - Important points:-

  • Visitors only permitted on Tuesdays and Thursdays

Gleneagles - Perthshire - Important points:-

  • 3 Courses - PGA Centenary, King's Course and Queen's Course

Carnoustie - Angus - Important points:-

  • You need to check the websites from January 2009 - at least one year in advance!

  • There is a validated handicap requirement of either 28 (men) or 36 (women)
  • You may be more successful with your booking if you purchase 2 rounds  one on one of the other two courses in Carnoustie
