Edinburgh Festival, Fireworks & Tattoo

During the months of August and early September Edinburgh hosts the world- renowned International Festival and its associated Fringe Festival. 2010 marks the Diamond Jubilee Year of the Edinburgh's celebrated Military Tattoo which will take place from 6-28 August with performances on Monday to Friday at 9.00pm and on Saturday at 7.30pm and 10.30pm. The fireworks show will coincide with the ICSES 2010 Welcome Reception on the evening of Sunday 5th September, starting at 2100 hours. There are a number of areas within the city that delegates can make their way to after the Reception giving great views of the fireworks. Waverley Bridge, North Bridge, Inverleith Park Family Viewing Area and Calton Hill are all recommended.
